Wheelers Green Way, Thatcham, RG19 4YA

Burdwood Community Centre

The image shows a clean, well-lit hall or community space. The walls are painted in two tones, white on top and gray on the bottom. The flooring appears to be a combination of wood-look planks in the center and carpet around the edges. Windows with blue roller blinds are visible along one wall, and there are stacks of chairs against the opposite wall. A couple of wall-mounted fans and signage regarding stacking chairs near radiators are also present. The space appears to be empty and ready for use, with a neutral and functional aesthetic.
The image shows a brightly lit, empty hall. On the left, there are five stacked chairs next to a sign reminding people not to stack chairs in front of the radiators. A large fan stands near an exit door, accompanied by a table on wheels and a fire extinguisher. The right side features three tall windows through which sunlight streams, creating bright patches on the floor. The lower part of the walls is painted gray, while the upper portion is white. The floor is a combination of wood-patterned laminate and gray carpet. The space appears clean and well-maintained.
The walls are painted in a pleasant cream or pale beige hue, with a dark grey dado rail or lower section adding a subtle visual break. The ceiling is white and flat, fitted with numerous long, rectangular fluorescent-style LED light fixtures arranged in rows, providing very bright, even, and shadow-minimizing illumination throughout the space. Natural light filters in through the windows but is supplemented significantly by the artificial lighting. The background consists of the back wall with its stacked chairs and storage, and the exterior view through the windows. The colour palette is dominated by neutral tones of the floor (grey-brown), walls (cream, dark grey), and furniture (brown chairs), punctuated by lively bursts of primary colours from the children's play equipment and the blue chairs and blinds.
